Japan Foods introduced a state-of-the-art PET bottle line at our main factory in Chiba in July 2012 and revitalized our existing large PET bottle line (T line) in March 2014 (added a new PET bottle blow molding machine and an aseptic filling machine for both carbonated and non-carbonated beverages). This gives us a total of 12 production lines, including existing PET bottle and can lines.
We have a total of seven PET bottle lines. One is an eco-friendly aseptic filling line, which can do everything from cutting-edge PET bottle molding to filling in one integrated process for both carbonated and non-carbonated beverages. Another is our T line, which features new bottle molding and aseptic filling equipment added to our existing large PET bottle line. We also have two small PET bottle lines focusing on soft drinks, a large PET bottle line, another line that can handle anything from small to large size PET bottles, and a multi-line that can handle PET bottles, bottle cans, and glass bottles.
For our can line, we have two traditional SOT can (pull-top can) lines, and one SOT can/wide-mouth small bottle can line, for a total of three lines. Elsewhere, we have an industrial concentrated drink (bag-in-box) line and a bottled water line.
We are further strengthening and realizing commissioned beverage filling business (core business activities) by introducing new technology and equipment.

Our configuration of lines makes it possible to handle a full range of soft drink products and containers. The unsurpassed sophistication of Japan Foods’ manufacturing operations is the Company’s strength and forte as the domestic leader in beverage production.

Going forward, our lines will effectively show their strength with manufacturing general soft drinks as well as canned Chuhai, cocktails and other alcoholic beverages.
