Quality assurance is one of the highest priorities at our manufacturing facilities. Japan Foods leverages strengths involving its people, technologies and operating systems to maintain the level of quality needed to earn the trust of customers. All production lines are equipped with automated testing systems with extremely high precision. This permits continuous product testing on each line.

To shut out impurities and insects, filling rooms are protected by air showers and air pressure is higher than in other areas of the factory. Experienced workers perform a variety of exacting inspections. Tests include sensory tests, chemical analysis, tests for microbes and a visual test for overall appearance.

In Japan, the public is becoming increasingly concerned about food safety. To supply beverages that people can consume with confidence, we have a traceability system for raw materials that makes tracing data available to every section of the Company. This allows quickly determining the cause of a problem and devising a solution.

Thus, through our thorough quality management system we were ISO9001:2000 certified in 2001, we received HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) approval in 2002, and we were FSSC22000 (food safety management) certified in 2013.

Never satisfied with our current accomplishments, we are continuing to study ways to make further refinements in quality assurance.
